The School of Arts & Sciences offers students academic programs grounded in the liberal arts and sciences. Our programs allow students to broaden their understanding of the human experience, enrich their potential, and sharpen their critical thinking--all of which are important for a successful life and career. The School of Arts & Sciences is organized into five departments: Biomedical & Natural Sciences, Computer Science & Mathematics, Behavioral Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Creative Arts.

Many of the science majors in the School of Arts & Sciences provide a competitive foundation for students planning to pursue careers in research and education, as well as professional degrees in medicine and other healthcare fields.

The School of Arts & Sciences is also a place for visual and performing arts. In addition to several theatre and musical performances throughout the academic year, Studio San Giuseppe, the on-campus art gallery, offers a wide array of exhibits and activities year-round. Interested in cooperative education or writing for the Mount's literary magazine? These opportunities and more are found in the School of Arts & Sciences.
