Mount St. Joseph University is honored to be named to the 2025 Transfer Honor Roll from the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for its success in creating dynamic pathways to support a wonderful transfer student experience.

On July 31, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) named 251 colleges and universities to its 2025 Transfer Honor Roll. Colleges and universities added to the honor roll have been recognized for the accessibility and support they provide to transfer students. Among the 251 institutions recognized for their exemplary service to transfer students across the nation, the Mount was one of them!
Phi Theta Kappa, consisting of over 3 million members with chapters across 10 countries, is an honor society that recognizes the academic achievement of students at associate-degree colleges and helps them to grow as individuals, students and leaders. The Transfer Honor Roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost and financial aid, campus life for transfer, admission practices, and bachelor’s degree completion.
"We are incredibly honored to be named to the 2025 Transfer Honor Roll," said Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission, Amy Wolf. "This recognition from Phi Theta Kappa is a testament to our dedicated work in creating a seamless and supportive experience for all transfer students. It affirms our commitment to making sure every student who comes to the Mount feels welcomed, valued, and set up for success from day one."
With a standing tradition of walking its students through a personalized college experience, Mount St. Joseph is honored to be named to PTK’s 2025 Transfer Honor Roll. The university extends its gratitude to Phi Theta Kappa for this recognition, and congratulates all of the 250 other colleges and universities who provide an exceptional and supportive experience to transfer students.
“I’m proud of the transfer outcomes we’re seeing at these Honor Roll colleges,” said Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner, President and CEO of Phi Theta Kappa. “These colleges are doing more than just opening doors—they’re walking students through them. Their commitment to creating clear, supportive pathways demonstrates what’s possible when student success is truly the priority.”
