President H. James Williams, Ph.D. at Mount St. Joseph University along with three other leaders from prominent Catholic universities in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, gathered for a dinner with newly-installed Most Reverend Robert G. Casey, Archbishop of Cincinnati.

According to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Archbishop Casey is the tenth Archbishop of Cincinnati, following the retirement of Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr, who served for 15 years. The dinner was organized to introduce the Archbishop to the leaders of the region's Catholic higher education community, and strengthen ties between his office and local academia.
The group in attendance included the following leaders:
- Very Reverend Anthony R. Brausch, President of Athenaeum of Ohio/Rector of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary;
- Most Reverend Robert G. Casey, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati;
- Colleen M. Hanycz, Ph.D., President of Xavier University;
- Eric F. Spina, Ph.D., President of the University of Dayton; and
- H. James Williams, Ph.D., President of Mount St. Joseph University.
"It was an honor to welcome Archbishop Casey and strengthen our ties with the Archdiocese," said Dr. Williams. "This gathering was a powerful reminder of our shared commitment to Catholic higher education, and our collective mission to serve the Greater Cincinnati Region. We look forward to a strong partnership, as we continue to “Rise to New Heights,” together!"
