New home for the Mount's Physician Assistant Program marks a major investment in healthcare education and the future of Delhi Towne Square.
CINCINNATI, OHIO — Today, Mount St. Joseph University (the Mount) and Delhi Township announced a partnership to bring the University's Physician Assistant Program to Delhi Towne Square. The Mount will invest approximately $2.5 million to transform 7,000 square feet into a dedicated facility for physician assistant education, expanding opportunities for the University, while advancing the Township's vision for its Town Center.
Expected to open in January 2028, the facility will feature contemporary classrooms, specialized clinical examination and simulation suites, and thoughtfully designed spaces for student collaboration and study. The new location will accommodate future enrollment growth, subject to accreditor approval, while bringing students, faculty, and staff to Delhi Towne Square.
“Bringing the Mount's Physician Assistant Program to Delhi Towne Square is a significant win for our community,” said Mike Davis, Chair of the Delhi Township Board of Trustees. “This partnership puts the development's remaining tenant space to productive use, generates long-term revenue for the Township, and brings new activity to our town center. It builds upon our longstanding relationship with the Mount and advances our vision for Delhi Towne Square as a vibrant destination for residents, businesses, and visitors.”

“The Mount has a long and distinguished history of preparing healthcare professionals to serve our region, and beyond,” said Dr. H. James Williams, President of Mount St. Joseph University. “This investment will create opportunities for more students, strengthen our ability to respond to the region's healthcare workforce needs, and provide a learning environment designed specifically for physician assistant education. To take this step in partnership with Delhi Township, the community we have proudly called home since our founding in 1920, makes it especially meaningful.”
Located approximately 1.5 miles from the Mount's main campus, the new facility will provide a dedicated home for the Physician Assistant Program, while making its existing campus space available for future University needs. Building on initial conceptual designs, BHDP Architecture will collaborate with PA Program faculty and University representatives to refine and finalize the facility's design.
The partnership includes an initial 10-year lease with an option to extend for an additional 10 years.
