Let us congratulate the 2023 December Pride of the Lions: The Office of Human Resources!
The Mount's "Pride of the Lions" for December, 2023 is the entire Human Resources Team: Chief Human Resources Officer, Teri Compton; Associate Director of Talent and Compliance, Ashley Barnett; and HR Generalist, Mara Kandra.
This small but impactful group has distinguished itself throughout the year, by embracing the ideas of innovation, continuous improvement, and partnering with departments and personnel across the campus.
The team's impacts over the past few months have been particularly compelling! Indeed, the team has led and executed initiatives that are making the Mount Community a better, more rewarding place to work. The group has leveraged HR best-practices and technology--buttressed by employee feedback--to update policies, simplify the University's Performance Review Process (including Mid-Year Reviews), and administer the much-appreciated salary increases, among other accomplishments.
This team of outstanding women demonstrates a real commitment to the Mount's Mission, Vision, and Values. As we begin 2024, please join me in congratulating them for jobs well done!
