Mount St. Joseph University's Connection to St. Joseph
In celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, Sr. Judith Metz, SC, explains the history of our University’s connection to our patron.
Cameron York, Education Major & Football Player
My name is Cameron York and I am a junior dual major in Special Education and Early Childhood Education, as well as a Mount football player, with aspirations of being a teacher. My dream of becoming a teacher has only been made possible because of generous donors investing in scholarships. Please join me in providing the tools for others to build a future for themselves by donating to the Mount Annual Fund.
You can hear more of Cameron's story in the video here!
One donor who makes their first-ever Day of Giving gift, of any amount, will be randomly selected, and the fund to which they designated their gift will receive an additional $1,000.
Dear Mount Community,
For over 102 years, Mount St. Joseph University has developed students to overcome with the Heart of a Lion, and that would not be possible without generous gifts from alumni, parents, family, and friends.
Generous donors have provided a matching gift up to $8,000 for all donations made to the Mount Annual Fund, which supports student scholarships. Also, one donor who makes their first-ever Day of Giving gift, of any amount, will be randomly selected and their gift designation will receive an additional $1,000.
At 5 p.m. on Monday, March 20, we will be celebrating Mass in the Mater Dei Chapel. All are welcome! One donor who makes a gift during Mass at the Mater Dei Chapel will be selected to choose a fund to receive an additional $500. If you cannot join us in person, please consider making your gift between 5-6 p.m. on March 20, as one random alumna/alumnus donor who donates online during our Mass time will also be selected to choose a fund to receive an additional $500.
Help Light the Way for current and future Lions by celebrating the Mount, the Feast of St. Joseph, and your gratitude for all this community has given you by making a gift to any division or department on campus.
Thank you for helping our Mount students Climb Higher!
