The Title IX Coordinator has the authority to investigate allegations involving Title IX allegations in every form or appoint investigators or Deputy Title IX Coordinators as necessary. Title IX Coordinators are also responsible for providing annual training to members of the Mount community on topics pertaining to responsible employee obligations, policies and procedures changes and implementations, Clery Act and the Violence Against Women’s Act. The University has designated the Chief Human Resources Officer, Teri Compton, (513) 244-4979, as the individual responsible for responding to inquiries, issues, or complaints relating to discriminatory, harassing, or retaliatory conduct related to race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, or any other legally protected status. The University has designated the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, Dr. Christa Currie, Ph.D., (513) 244-4614, as the individual responsible for responding for addressing formal complaints regarding compliance with its responsibilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
