PA Week, Oct. 6–12, celebrates the vital role physician assistants play in delivering compassionate, accessible and high-quality patient care.
Each year, PA Week provides an opportunity to recognize the contributions of physician assistants (PAs) and PA students while raising awareness of the profession and its impact on patients and communities. PAs are essential members of healthcare teams, providing care across a wide range of medical settings and specialties.
At Mount St. Joseph University, the Physician Assistant Studies program prepares future clinicians to provide quality, patient-centered care while emphasizing humanistic medicine, and professional excellence. The program combines rigorous medical education with an immersive clinical experience, preparing students to enter the healthcare profession ready to serve diverse patient populations.
During PA Week 2026, MSJ celebrates the PAs, PA students, faculty, and alumni who are making a difference in healthcare and recognizes their ongoing commitment to compassionate care and service to others.
