The HeART of the Community Student Art Show is now on view at the Delhi Event Center Arts Gallery
The HeART of the Community Student Art Show is now on view at the Delhi Event Center Arts Gallery, showcasing the creativity and artistic achievement of 140 student artists from eight area schools.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of the 2026 exhibition. The annual show celebrates outstanding student artwork selected by art educators who recognize exceptional creativity, technical skill, and artistic growth in their classrooms.
This year’s exhibition features work from students representing St. Dominic K–8 School, Delhi Middle School, Rapid Run Middle School, Taylor Middle School, Bridgetown Middle School, Seton High School, Oak Hills High School, and Mount St. Joseph University. Together, the exhibition highlights the vibrant arts community that continues to flourish throughout the West Side of Cincinnati.
Behind every work of art is the encouragement and dedication of exceptional art educators. Participating teachers include Regina Angel, Mary Sala, Stacey Battoclette, Amber Moore, Jeanna Linenkugel, Jamie Schorsch, Kristy Kopf, Steve Groh, Katie Jacobs, Melissa Ambs, Bridget Dignan-Cummins, Margie Metz, Erin Vanover, and Michaelann Kelley. Their commitment to nurturing creativity and providing meaningful artistic experiences has inspired the next generation of artists.
Mount St. Joseph University’s Art & Design students are proudly represented in this year’s exhibition with an impressive collection of work. Visitors can experience Regal Me: An Homage to Betty Ross by Dahlia Baer, Snack Attack by Vanessa Bodunde, OH YEAH! by Erick Davis Jr., and King of Diamonds by Eric Reeves. The exhibition also features compelling self-portraits by Jordan Tinsley, Cheyenne Ginter, and Kaiya Steffen, along with Hare by Lex Haffey, Sailing by Ben Smith, Vibrant Seashells by Tori Orbegozo, and Tuscan Seashells by Cate Cole.
Congratulations to Jordan Tinsley, whose Self Portrait was recognized as the University-Level Award Winner. A freshman at Mount St. Joseph University, Tinsley’s work was selected for this honor under the mentorship of Art & Design faculty member Michaelann Kelley.
More than an exhibition, HeART of the Community is a celebration of the transformative power of arts education. The diverse collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, photography, and mixed-media works reflects the imagination, technical skill, and unique perspectives of student artists across the region.
The exhibition is open to the public through August at the Delhi Event Center Arts Gallery. Community members are encouraged to visit, celebrate these talented young artists, and experience firsthand the creativity that continues to enrich our schools and our community.
