Best decision of my college career was to transfer to the Mount, I feel so less stressed, everyone is there to support you, it really feels like a second home.

Why did you choose the Mount?
I chose the mount because of the small classroom size and the personal connections you make.
How did the Mount help accommodate your transfer needs?
They took all of my credits from UC and made it very easy to transfer.
Are you involved in any student organizations or extracurriculars? If so, how have these supported your academic success?
I am on the men's soccer team which has helped me make lots of friends and improve my leadership skills, and I’m a leader in the exercise is medicine club, which has helped me expand my knowledge of the effects of physical activity and health.
How do you manage your course load along with other obligations?
Through setting time for specific classes and using professor's office hours to better understand the content.
Describe one of your favorite memories at the Mount so far.
Coming home from a win with the soccer team on the bus, and giving out stress balls in the seton lobby as a part of heart health month for the exercise is medicine club.
What advice would you give to someone looking to transfer to the Mount?
I was much happier after I transferred to the mount, I felt more welcomed and had much more support to help my academic career.
What was your experience like connecting with students on campus?
It is so easy to connect and become friends with people at the mount, the class sizes are small so it’s easy to talk and you always have people in more than one class.
Can you describe your experience with the transfer scholarships and applying for them?
It was super easy to get scholarships transferred and to get the scholarships, all I had to do was tell them which ones, and they helped handle the rest.
How has the Mount supported you so far?
They have given me advisers to help my journey and provided tutoring for classes.
