The School of Arts and Humanities at Mount St. Joseph University hosted its 23rd Annual Writing Contest.

High school sophomores from around the Greater Cincinnati area submitted writing pieces in the following categories for cash prizes:

  • Fiction 
  • Personal Essay
  • Poetry

Prizes Per Category:

  • 1st Place - $100
  • Honorable Mention (2) - $50 each

The awards ceremony was held March 20, 2019.

Contest Rules:

  • Contestant must be a sophomore in high school.
  • Entries must be submitted through the high school English teacher with an official entry form.
  • Entries must be original work.
