Wellness Center Funding Opportunities

At the Mount, the Wellness Center provides comprehensive mental and physical health services, including GROW Coaching, Case Management, Individual Counseling, and Let’s Talk appointments. The Wellness Center also offers innovative prevention programming grounded in the Eight Dimensions of Wellness to support the well-being of students and the entire Mount community.

The Class of 1973’s 50th Reunion initiative helped establish the Risk A Caring Response Fund / Wellness Center Fund, which enables the Wellness Center to deliver additional prevention programming and resources. These funds help purchase materials and supplies needed to expand mental health services and wellness programming for students and employees. All services and programming supported by this fund are designed around the Eight Dimensions of Wellness.

With the rise in student basic needs insecurities, The Wellness Center has also established the Lions Cupboard Fund to sustain the on-campus food pantry. This fund helps provide students with a variety of essential food items—including canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, shelf-stable milk, chili, spaghetti, and peanut butter—as well as hygiene products such as shampoo, hand soap, and feminine hygiene items.
