The HeART of the Community Student Art Show is now on view at the Delhi Event Center Arts Gallery!

Mount St. Joseph News

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of the 2026 HeART of the Community Exhibition. This special exhibition celebrates the creativity and talent of 140 student artists from eight area schools, each selected by their art teachers to represent the outstanding work being created throughout our community.

The exhibition brings together artwork from students at St. Dominic K-8 School, Delhi Middle School, Rapid Run Middle School, Taylor Middle School, Bridgetown Middle School, Seton High School, Oak Hills High School, and Mount St. Joseph University. Behind every piece on display is the guidance and encouragement of dedicated art educators including Regina Angel, Mary Sala, Stacey Battoclette, Amber Moore, Jeanna Linenkugel, Jamie Schorsch, Kristy Kopf, Steve Groh, Katie Jacobs, Melissa Ambs, Bridget Dignan-Cummins, Margie Metz, Erin Vanover, and Michaelann Kelley, whose commitment to arts education continues to inspire young artists throughout our region.

We are especially proud of the Mount St. Joseph University Art & Design students whose work is featured in this year's exhibition. Visitors will experience Dahlia Baer's Regal Me; An Homage to Betty Ross, Vanessa Bodunde's Snack Attack, Erick Davis Jr.'s energetic OH YEAH!, and Eric Reeves' King of Diamonds. The exhibition also includes self-portraits by Jordan Tinsley, Cheyenne Ginter, and Kaiya Steffen, alongside Lex Haffey's Hare, Ben Smith's Sailing, Tori Orbegozo's Vibrant Seashells, and Cate Cole's Tuscan Seashells.

The HeART of the Community exhibition showcases the power of art education and the incredible creativity thriving throughout our schools. We invite everyone to visit the gallery, celebrate these artists, and experience the diverse perspectives, stories, and talents that make our community so vibrant.
