Biography:
Amanda studied sociology and higher education administration at Eastern Kentucky University and remains a loyal Colonel to this day, still visiting Richmond, Kentucky quite often. Within the School of Education Amanda is the resident social media content strategist and aids with other special projects. What she enjoys most about the SoE is meeting MSJ’s wonderful and inspiring students. She is true westsider, having attended both Seton High School and St. Antoninus, and currently resides in the village of Sayler Park. Amanda lives in an historic home with her husband, two young children, and many chickens. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping in the Red River Gorge, and traveling. Biking to the local coffee shop, reading historical fiction in a hammock, and organizing are a few of her favorite pastimes.
