Biography:
Lauren Weissman serves as Associate Director of Grant Development at Mount St. Joseph University, where she plays a key role in advancing Mount St. Joseph University’s external funding strategy. Lauren leads the development and coordination of competitive grant proposals and funding requests, serves as a resource to faculty, staff and University leadership throughout the grant lifecycle, and cultivates relationships with external funding partners.
Prior to joining the Mount, Lauren served as Director of Development at Dohn Community High School. Her professional background also includes nonprofit administration, communications, business operations, and publishing. While living in Colorado, she spent more than a decade with ASPEN Magazine, serving in leadership roles overseeing operations, communications, and business management.
Lauren is passionate about helping organizations grow through sustainable funding, meaningful partnerships, and effective storytelling. She enjoys building connections between people and resources that create lasting impact and expand opportunities for students and communities.
Lauren enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring new places, volunteering, and spending time with her two teenagers.
