Biography:

Dr. Bindis is an associate professor in the School of Education. He is responsible for the AYA and MCE programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 

 

He earned a PhD in Chemistry Education from Miami University. Previously, he earned a Master of Arts in Education from Baldwin-Wallace University with a concentration in Educational Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Mount Union.

 

His research interests include the perceptions of high school female students toward science and science careers, and the use of pedagogical content knowledge by pre-service and early career science teachers. He has presented his research at local and national conferences.
