Biography:

Megan Pater serves as Principal Faculty and is the Assessment Coordinator within the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Mount St Joseph University. Her professional career began as an Athletic Trainer where she worked with college athletes through Wright State University and the University of Cincinnati. During this time she also served as an adjunct instructor in UC's athletic training program. Shortly after graduation from Kettering, she worked as a PA in community mental health at St Joseph Orphanage and Positive Leaps. In addition to her role at MSJ, she works urgent care clinics at Beacon Orthopaedics. She is a Cincinnati native and enjoys teaching in multiple areas in the program, especially Evidence-based Medicine & Public Health, and Clinical Approach to Behavioral Health.

Megan enjoys spending time with her three kids, finding new walking trails, and attending country concerts with her husband.
