Biography:

Dr. Cecelia Dorger teaches art history courses at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also an adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology:  The Athenaeum of Ohio where she teaches courses about sacred art. Her area of expertise is the study of Medieval and Renaissance sacred art, especially images of the Virgin Mary. She has received numerous teaching awards and has published a number of articles about the Madonna in art.
