Move FORWARD in Your Life.

Move FORWARD in Your Career.

In the School of Business we prepare LEADERS to fulfill their potential. We are proud of the positive impact our graduates make on business and on society.

Consistent with the mission and values of the Mount, our programs emphasize academic excellence, respect and inclusion, social responsibility, and ethical leadership. Our dedicated professors bring academic rigor and professional business experience to the classroom. You will find that they genuinely care about your development and success!

Undergraduate Students: Whether you major in accounting, financial economics, management and leadership, marketing, or sport management, you will begin your program with an opportunity to join LeaderTrek, our unique leadership development program. Your business core courses will provide a solid grounding in several vital areas of business. Then you will dive into your major coursework, with opportunities to take elective courses and complete business co-ops that suit your interests and aspirations. Your program ends with a culminating project in entrepreneurship. Along the way, your business professors will be there as teachers, mentors, coaches, and connectors to the business world.

Not sure if you want to major in business? Consider registering for BUS 101: Introduction to Business for a high-level view of the business world and its exciting career opportunities. Or pair a major in another field with a business administration, nonprofit management, or sport management minor.

Graduate Students: Our Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) programs are designed to help you take the next step on your leadership path. Courses are offered in face-to-face and virtual (synchronous) formats, and our cohort model provides a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

The 4+1 MBA allows you to begin your graduate program during your senior undergraduate year and earn an MBA with just one additional year of coursework. The Professional MBA is designed for those with at least three years of professional work experience. Both MBA programs are open to students without business degrees, due to our unique online short courses covering foundational areas of business.

The MSOL program prepares leaders with at least three years of professional work experience to dramatically enhance their leadership knowledge and capacity. Our distinctive curriculum combines leadership-focused courses with courses in complementary areas of business. The program builds to a culminating project in which students investigate a research question of practical use to their own company.
