ENG 096 Foundations of Writing (3cr)
This course prepares new students to transition from high school to college-level writing with intensive writing practice and feedback. Students will write more confidently and purposefully, while developing ways to clarify and edit writing for a college-level audience.
ENG 101 Written Word (3cr)
Written Word introduces new college students to academic writing with intensive writing and feedback. It guides them in developing strategies for communicating clearly, effectively, ethically and creatively in a college setting. This course emphasizes critical reading, writing and thinking skills. Students will discover and create knowledge by generating questions, investigating issues and forming their own opinions.
