Black History Month Opening Ceremony

Each February, the Mount community celebrates the experience, history, and culture that is Black History Month.  The opening ceremony for Black History Month brings together the university community through African dance, speakers, and food as well as music!
 

Diversity and Inclusion Welcome Reception

During MSJ University’s Welcome Week, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion sponsors a reception that welcomes incoming students and welcomes back our returning students. 

The event includes current student organizations and university offices.  This program is designed to be informative and serve as an introduction to MSJ University community.
 

Hispanic/Latino Awareness Month

National Hispanic Heritage Month takes place September 15 to October 15. Hispanic Heritage Month acknowledges the contributions, heritage, and culture within the Hispanic/Latino community.

At MSJ University, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to not only celebrate but gain a better awareness of this great community’s ethnicity and pride!  All are welcome to take part in the month long observation!
 

MLK University Day of Service

Each year, people from across the nation gather together on the King Holiday to serve their communities.  Each year Mount St. Joseph University’s community will take part in a service project that focuses on social justice and service.
 

Women’s Leadership and Advocacy Award

The Women’s Leadership and Advocacy Award was established to celebrate the accomplishments of unsung women leaders and advocates. This effort seeks to recognize women and women’s advocates who exhibit leadership and take initiative with or without formal titles or positions.
