The Mount St. Joseph University Board of Trustees has named Joel Thierstein, J.D., Ph.D., interim president effective June 1, 2015, while the University conducts a national search to replace former president, Tony Aretz, Ph.D.

Joel Thierstein came to Mount St. Joseph University as vice president for academic affairs August 1, 2014. Dr. Thierstein’s leadership began with the Mount’s inaugural year as a university and continues with the university’s vision for future academic offerings. Biography
