Do I need a specific degree to be admitted into the program?

Yes. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a regionally accredited university or an entry level generalist masters degree in nursing, such as the Mount’s MAGELIN program, is required.

What is the difference between the MSN in the Administration Track and the Education Track and the MAGELIN (Master’s Graduate Entry-Level into Nursing) program?

The MSN Programs in Administration and Education are tailored for nurses who currently have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and are practicing nurses. The MAGELIN program is a pre-licensure program for individuals who have a non-nursing bachelor’s degree. MAGELIN prepares students to take the NCLEX-RN examination and enter the practice of nursing at the graduate level.

What is the deadline for applications?

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Students who meet the criteria are selected on a first-come-first-serve basis.
