Teacher Education Program Performance Data
2015-2018
Mount St. Joseph University Teacher Education Program, which is designed to prepare competent, collaborative, caring, and reflective practitioners, is granted Full Accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, from 2019-2026. This accreditation certifies that Mount St. Joseph University’s education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to CAEP’s rigorous, nationally recognized standards.
CAEP mandates that eight specific annual reporting measures be reported each year by educator preparation providers. This reporting is meant to allow providers to routinely gather, analyze, and report critical data about their programs as one means for public accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. The data encourage in-depth evaluation, self-interrogation, and reporting, and they are useful for both employers and prospective applicants.
