The School of Arts and Humanities at Mount St. Joseph University is hosting its 22nd Annual Writing Contest.

The School of Arts and Humanities at Mount St. Joseph University is hosting its 22nd Annual Writing Contest.

High school sophomores from around the Greater Cincinnati area can submit writing pieces in the following categories for cash prizes:

  • Fiction 
  • Personal Essay
  • Poetry

Prizes Per Category:

  • 1st Place - $100
  • Honorable Mention (2) - $50 each

Entries are due February 15, 2018, and contestants will be notified by March 5, 2018. The awards ceremony will be held March 21, 2018.

Contest Rules:

  • Contestant must be a sophomore in high school.
  • Entries must be submitted through the high school English teacher with an official entry form.
  • Entries must be original work.
