Ryan Day, Ph.D. received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the Mount, which led him to pursue the Mount’s doctoral degree program in physical therapy. He is currently a practicing physical therapist at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
In his practice as a physical therapist, Dr. Day treats a wide variety of neurological, muscular and degenerative disorders mainly in the geriatric population. Dr. Day says he applies knowledge from the physical, behavioral and social science classes taken at the Mount, and notes that his psychology courses helped him understand people of different cultures, backgrounds and ethnicities.
In addition to the courses required for the psychology major, Ryan took courses in biology, chemistry and physics at the Mount, which helped him further prepare for the physical therapy program.
