Nominate Fellow Alumni for Awards

Alumni & Giving

File Under: alumni awards

Alumni from the classes of 1963, 1973, 1978 and 1983 are invited to nominate their classmates for alumni awards that will be given out at the Reunion Weekend in June. Awards will be presented during a prayer service in the Mater Dei Chapel on Saturday, June 8.  The awards given are based on your nominations, so please take some time to nominate today.

Awards are presented to those alumni who have given their time and talents in exceptional ways.

  • Loretta Richards Distinguished Alumni Award - the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate of the Mount. It recognizes career and/or vocational achievements and service to the College.
  • Sister Mary Lea Mueller Human Services Award - given to alumni who have devoted their life in service to others; who through their commitment to service affirm the value of human existence; or who enhance the community by serving its educational, cultural, social, and religious institution.
  • Alumni Career Achievement Award - given annually to Mount graduates for outstanding achievement in their career/vocational field. All Mount graduates (except for present Alumni Board members) are eligible for nomination.
  • Alumni Faculty Appreciation Award - honors a current or former facultymember (still living) with the Faculty Appreciation Award.  Nominating a faculty member provides you with the opportunity to show your gratitude to a professor who offered praise and encouragement, served as a role model, or made an impact on your life.
