Educators, who wish to enhance their skills in helping students read, spell and write effectively will find one of the nation’s strongest programs in Reading Science at Mount St. Joseph University. Mount St. Joseph University’s Reading Science Program is one of the first in the nation to receive full accreditation by the International Dyslexia Association. The Mount received this status after an objective, independent review of programs by an expert team of IDA reviewers who looked at each course for alignment with the IDA Knowledge and Practice Standards.
