CINCINNATI, Ohio (March 13, 2018) – Mount St. Joseph University will host alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the University at the 48th annual Mount Jubilee Gala Scholarship Benefit on Friday, April 6, 2018. As in the past, 100 percent of all proceeds benefit student scholarships, which help to make an education at the Mount possible for hundreds of students per year.
President H. James Williams, Ph.D., and First Lady Carole Williams will join event co-chairs Elaine Busch Billmire, M.D., ’72, and Robyn Ruede Caponi ’72, in hosting guests. The gala will be held in the Cincinnati Music Hall Ballroom, located at 1241 Elm Street, Cincinnati. A cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing to the music of the Johnny Clueless Band.
Individuals and organizations who have made a significant impact on the Mount will be honored. The Alumni (Ann Rasche) Award will be presented to Larry Klosterkemper, the Trustees Award will be presented to Robert Niehaus, and the Corporate Partner Award will be accepted by John F. Barrett, CEO of Western & Southern Financial Group.
Liz Bonis of WKRC-TV Local 12 is the emcee for this year’s Mount Jubilee Gala. She serves as Local 12’s health & medical reporter and is also a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer, and former diabetes educator.
“The Jubilee Gala is an important opportunity for the Mount to build closer relationships with our loyal donors and alumni,” said Raye Allen, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, “as well as to celebrate their success in supporting scholarships for deserving students.”
