Mount St. Joseph psychology professor Mary Kay Fleming, Ph.D. has turned her award-winning pen towards publication once more.
Teaming up with thirty seven other female writers, Dr. Fleming has contributed to an anthology entitled You Do You, the sixth book in the New York Times bestselling series I Just Want to Pee Alone, created and edited by Jen Mann.
This collection of prose and essays from ladies of all ages and backgrounds celebrates the milestones and pitfalls that girls and women experience.
“I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing group of essayists and poets celebrating girls and women in such a spectacular way,” said Dr. Fleming in a recent interview. “Our voices, our integrity, and our leadership are more important than ever.”
You Do You released on September 28, and is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle, and on B&N.com, Nook, iBooks, Kobo, and other e-book retailers.
Dr. Fleming is a professor in the School of Behavioral and Natural Sciences at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati and the mother of two. She won the 2016 Erma Bombeck Writing Competition for humor, and has published at HumorWriters.org, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Boomer Café, and other online outlets, as well as in two additional anthologies.
