Susan Schehl Schiller ’71 of Cincinnati received the 2016 Women of Influence Award. The award honors women who have helped shape their organization's success and demonstrated exceptional leadership. Award criteria are based on the individual’s invaluable contributions, professional achievements and continuous dedication. Susan is the executive director at Bethany House.
C. Renae Baker Phillips ’75 of Springboro, Ohio, received the Ohio Organization of Nurse Executive leader award in November 2016. Renae served as president and past president of OONE. She has since retired from nursing.
Catherine Soehner ’87 of Salt Lake City, Utah, co-authored a book about holding effective difficult conversations, which was published through the American Library Association.
Michael Pitman ’98 of Cincinnati was named the 2017 Salesian Guild Communicator of the Year and will be recognized on January 28, at the Salesian Guild Annual Meeting. He is a political reporter for the Journal-News (Cox Media Group Ohio). His work has appeared in the Dayton Daily News, the Springfield News-Sun and WHIO Radio.

Sondra Presley ’11 of Cincinnati received a Master of Library & Information Science degree from Kent State University. Sondra is now the children's librarian at the Delhi Township Branch Library of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
Jennifer Rotundo ‘14 of Loveland, Ohio, was awarded The Paying It Forward scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship, by The University of Phoenix on January 14, 2017. She was nominated by fellow alumnus, Anthony Walsh ‘10. She will use the scholarship to pursue a master’s in health administration/gerontology.
