Autumn Richards | Mount St. Joseph University

Graduate Admission Counselor

WLC 167

B.S. Math Education, B.A. Spanish, Western Kentucky University; M.A. Higher Education Administration, University of Louisville

Autumn joined Mount St. Joseph University in 2016 as a Traditional Admission Counselor; moving to the Graduate Admission team in 2018. While in college, she was drawn to a career in education after teaching a community-based English as a Second Language course and seeing the powerful impact that learning had on her adult students, leading her to teach middle school math after graduation from Western Kentucky University. As a teacher, Autumn used her strengths of empathy and creativity to help her students to fall in love with math. In 2018, she completed her Master's in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville and now enjoys supporting career-changing students looking for a future in education through her role as a Graduate Admission Counselor for the School of Education. In her free time, Autumn enjoys hiking with her dogs, volunteering with community-based organizations, and watching 'The Office'.

Autumn was attracted to the Mount because of its glowing reputation.  "I know so many people that have attended the Mount (including my Dad!) and have seen how the University transforms students into influential leaders in and outside of Cincinnati through the incredible programs available to them.  I am so excited to have the opportunity to recruit students and watch their lives be transformed through the quality of an education from Mount St. Joseph University."
