A native of Paw Paw, Michigan, Tom joined the Mount Athletic Training Staff initially in 2016, as both an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Instructor working with Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women's Lacrosse, and Track & Field, before transitioning to full-time instructor in the summer of 2018. Prior to his work at the Mount, Tom worked out of Buffalo, New York acting as an Athletic Trainer and Performance Coach to various athletes and teams, including the Buffalo Beauts of the NWHL and FC Buffalo of the NPSL. Tom has earned a Bachelor’s of Science in athletic training from Northern Kentucky University and a Master’s of Education in athletic training from The University of Virginia, where he also served as the athletic trainer for their wrestling team. Along with his experience as a clinician, Tom has worked with NFL prospects and veterans, and has had research published in the Journal of Athletic Training. In his spare time, Tom enjoys competing in obstacle races, playing soccer, attempting to play the guitar, and singing. Tom currently resides in Cincinnati, OH.
