Biography:

Dr. Hotz teaches Organic and Inorganic Chemistry at the Mount.  In the lab, he studies chemical synthesis which is finding ways to make new molecules or better ways to make previously known molecules.  He is currently exploring ways to perform chemical reactions in a more environmentally friendly manner, for example, by using pure water as the solvent.
