All matriculated students at the College of Mount St. Joseph are members of the Student Government Association.

Administrative consultation and liaison with administrative offices of the College is provided by the Assistant Dean of Students and the Dean of Students. A Student Affairs staff member is the advisor to the Student Government Association.

There are many opportunities for students to participate in the Student Government Association such as the SGA sponsored programs and activities. Students can also get involved in campus governance which affects decisions about student life by serving on College committees.
