The Archbishop Alter Library serves Mount faculty, students, and staff. The Library’s collections of books, periodicals, audio and video tapes, DVDs, albums, and compact discs are housed on three levels. Services offered by the Library include:
- Information Desk: The librarian at the Information Desk is present to assist in finding materials or information. Please feel free to ask questions.
- Interlibrary Loan: Materials not owned by the Library may be requested through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). To request materials, please complete an ILL form from the library’s web page.
- Computer Searching: More than 140 databases can be searched by computer to find references to magazine and journal articles. In many cases the full text of an article is available. Instructions are provided on the Screen. Please contact a librarian at the Reference Desk for additional assistance.
- Photocopying: Plain paper copiers are available. Vend-a-cards may be purchased at the Circulation Desk.
- OhioLINK: The College is a part of OHIOLINK, a state-wide network of public and private universities and colleges whose major goal is to provide members with timely delivery of requested books.
