What is CommunitySafe?
ComunitySafe is a system that will be used by the Mount to notify students, faculty, and staff members of weather-related closings/delays as well as campus emergency/crisis situations via phone messages (voice and text). The Hamilton County sirens will continue to alert us for tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings, therefore we do not expect to use the CommunitySafe system in these situations.
Did you get the call?
Every student, staff and faculty member is strongly encouraged to sign up for CommunitySafe by listing up to nine phone numbers to be called during an emergency - including campus closings due to weather, water or power outages, as well as crisis situations.
Once enrolled in the Mount's CommunitySafe system, you'll receive voice and text messages regarding emergency news about the College.
Current students, faculty, and staff can log in to myMount to register and update their information. Just check under the Administative Services tab for the CommunitySafe page in the left-hand navigation.
