Prior to their first semester at the Mount, all new students are required to attend Orientation activities. These programs are designed to assist students and their parents with the transition to the Mount and provide information about college services and procedures.

Orientation consists of two parts:

1. A Summer Orientation Session
2. Welcome Weekend

*New first-time college students are required to attend both portions of orientation--Summer Orientation and Welcome Weekend. New transfers are encouraged to attend a Summer Orientation, but are only required to attend Welcome Weekend. Adult students attend a separate evening orientation in August.
