The Mount offers eight levels of academic scholarships to incoming students in recognition of academic achievement. These scholarships do not require a separate application and are awarded on a rolling basis, beginning in November.You can also receive scholarships for artistic talent, musical talent, participating in band, or for entering a certain field of study.

Ohio Academic Scholarship - Merit-based financial assistance is provided through the Ohio Academic Scholarship to the state's most academically outstanding high school graduate. The graduate must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate program in an Ohio college. The scholarship is awarded to at least one student from each of the participating chartered high school. A student's high school GPA and ACT Assessment scores are taken into consideration for selecting the recipient. Applications are due by February 23 of each year and can be obtained by the student's high school guidance office after January 1.
Ohio War Orphan Scholarship Program - Tuition assistance is provided through the Ohio War Orphan Scholarship Program for students of a parent who served active duty during wartime and is severly disabled or deceased as a result of the service. The applicants must be an Ohio resident, under the age of 25 and be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an eligible Ohio college. Applications are available from the Ohio Board of Regents, veterans services offices or high school guidance offices. The deadline for the applicaiton is July 1 of each year.
Ohio Student Choice Grant - The Ohio Student Choice Grant is awarded to all Ohio residents who are enrolled full-time in a baccalaureate program in an Ohio private college. The grant for the 2007-2008 academic year is $660.
KEES Matching Award - Since you can't bring the KEES monies with you, The College of Mount St. Joseph is offering KEES Matching Awards to eligible students in the state of Kentucky. If you are a current high school senior, you can receive an amount equal to the value of your KEES award if you enroll at the Mount in the fall of 2008. This scholarship is renewable for up to three years as long as you maintain a 3.0 grade point average and register as a full-time student.
