Biography: Dr. Obach is an associate professor in the Department of Undergraduate Education. A school psychologist by training, he teaches courses in educational psychology, assessment, and special education.
He is president of the Ohio Association for Private Colleges of Teacher Education (OAPCTE) for 2010-2012, and continues to serve as the Ohio representative for the Association of Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education (AILACTE).
He has presented in international, national, and state conferences about accountability in teacher education. His scholarly work includes book chapters and published articles in Educational Psychology and The School Psychologist.
Dr. Obach is also a licensed psychologist with interests in child and adolescent development, psychology in schools and education, and learning abilities/disabilities.
Personal Interests: Dr. Obach considers himself fortunate to have lived in Santa Fe, New Orleans, and Providence. As a result, he enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and visiting these three cities with his family.
