Joe Ahern, M.B.A. 
Professor Ahern is an associate professor of business at the Mount. He earned his M.B.A. in marketing from Xavier University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati. He has held executive positions with several major companies and has provided management consulting services to more than 40 corporations. |

John Ballard, Ph.D. 
Dr. Ballard is an associate professor of management at the Mount. He earned his doctorate in social personality psychology at Purdue University. An experienced manager and consultant, he has authored over 25 papers.

Mary Jean Blink, M.B.A. 
Mary Jean Blink is a computer information system instructor in the Department of Business Administration at the Mount. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dayton and an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. Working as a pro-rata faculty member affords Mary Jean the opportunity to continue managing a software development and consulting career with the company that she co-founded.

Mary Ann Edwards, M.B.A. 
Professor Edwards is an assistant professor in business at the College of Mount St. Joseph. Before coming to the Mount in 1985, professor Edwards earned her M.B.A. and M.A. in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Cincinnati and a B.A. in Communication Arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Currently she is pursuing a D.B.A. degree in the combined areas of marketing and management from Argosy University. She has several areas of research which include; customer relationship management, customer communication, and integrated marketing communication management. In addition, small and mid-size businesses are of great interest to her.

Melissa A. Houlette, Ph.D. 
Dr. Houlette is an assistant professor at the College of Mount St. Joseph in the Business Administration and Behavioral Sciences departments. Her research interests include the causes and consequences of intergroup bias and the development of means to improve relations between groups.

Gary Thomas Johns, Ph.D. 
Professor Johns is an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration and is the director of Students in Free Enterprise. Professor Johns is a Sam Walton Fellow and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, his M.B.A. from Xavier University Graduate School of Business. He earned his Doctorate in Applied Management and Decision Science Research from Walden University with a specialization in Finance/International Business.

David J. Kroger, M.S. 
Professor Kroger is a visiting assistant professor, teaching computer information systems courses. He earned a bachelor's degree in education as well as a master's in mathematics from the University of Dayton and is currently a doctoral student at Gatton College of Business and Economics, University of Kentucky. A professional speaker, trainer and facilitator, he enjoys traveling to exotic lands and playing racquet sports and golf.

Charles Kroncke, Ph.D. 
Dr. Kroncke is assistant professor of economics in business administration. Before coming to the Mount, he received his Ph.D. in economics from Auburn University.

Millard Mann, Jr. M.B.A., Ed.D.
Dr. Mann's work experience outside of academia is comprised of 35 years in various accounting positions in both public and private organizations, which granted him the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge in practically all facets of the accounting profession. Dr. Mann received his M.B.A. from Xavier University and his Ed.D. from the University of Cincinnati. He feels fortunate in having been able to share his knowledge with college-level students for the past 30 years. Dr. Mann's interests outside the classroom include jogging, reading, landscaping, and helping to coach youth athletics.

Joyce Richter, SC, M.A.T.M.
Professor Richter is assistant professor in the Business Administration Department at the College of Mount St. Joseph. She earned an M.A.T.M. degree from the University of Detroit and her undergraduate degree from the Mount. Sister Joyce is a long time educator who teaches software application courses in her present position at the Mount. |
Linda Schoenstedt, Ed.D. 
Dr. Schoenstedt is an assistant professor of business administration. She earned her doctorate in higher education administration at Montana State University and coached collegiate volleyball for twenty years most recently at the University of Iowa. Dr. Schoenstedt is the Director of the Sport Management program at the Mount. She serves on the Athletic Council and was selected to serve a three year term for NASPE on the national steering committee for Coaching Education through 2011. Her research agenda has included faculty productivity, sponsorship in sport, coaching education, and gender studies. Dr. Schoenstedt is also planning to blog and podcast from the Beijing Summer Olympics. She has two children and enjoys music, the arts, sports, gardening, reading and traveling.

Daryl R. Smith, Ph.D. 
Dr. Smith is the program director of the Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program at the Mount. Professor Smith spent 24 years in the Air Force as a pilot and faculty member at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. He holds a bachelor's degree in human factors engineering, a master's in human factors and systems engineering and a Ph.D. in human resource management and organizational behavior from the University of Washington Business School. Dr. Smith enjoys playing sports as well as watching baseball and collegiate sports, and spending time with his wife and four children in sports, scouts and church. |
