Biology: Dr. Christensen is an assistant professor in the Department of Biology at the Mount. She holds a Ph.D. in Physiology with a focus in Endocrinology from the University of Cincinnati and a B.A. in Biochemistry & Molecule Biology from the College of Wooster. At the Mount, Professor Christensen teaches Cell Biology and Anatomy & Physiology.
When not in the classroom, Dr. Christensen is an exercise enthusiast. She has completed six half marathons and is eager to tackle a full marathon. She also enjoys exercising her creativity through singing, knitting and scrapbooking. Being from the beach, Dr. Christensen also enjoys any activity that exposes her to sunshine especially those centered around water.
