10/12/08     Lions complete 2008 play at the HCAC Championship

Junior Megan Dickman (Oldenburg Academy/Batesville, IN) shot a two-round total of 184 today at the HCAC Championship, finishing 10th individually and missing by just two places of being named All-Conference for a second straight year. Junior teammate Alison Damon (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) was the only other Mount golfer to compete, as she finished in 37th place with a 258. Transylvania University placed first in the team standings.

10/4/08     Mount travels to the Manchester College Invitational

The Lions competed at the Manchester College Invitational today, as Megan Dickman (Oldenburg Academy/Batesville, IN) finished in a tie for 16th place with a season-tying best 89. Lauren Byrd (Cincinnati, OH/Seton) and Alison Damon (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) also competed for the Mount, who did not have a team score. The Invitational was won by Bethel College.

The Mount resumes action at the Oct. 11-12 HCAC Championship.

9/21/08     Lions compete at the Ohio Northern University Invitational

Megan Dickman (Oldenburg Academy/Batesville, IN) finished in a tie for 17th place today at the Ohio Northern University Invitational. Dickman had a season-best 89 as the Mount finished in 13th place.

The Lions are back in action on Sept. 22 at the Defiance College Invitational.

9/13/08     Mount opens 2008 play at the Hanover College Invitational

The Lions finished 11th in the team standings today at the Hanover College Invitational. Megan Dickman (Oldenburg Academy/Batesville, IN) led a quartet of Lions' golfers with a 92. Second day action ended abruptly, due to high winds and inclement weather, near the end of the second round.

The Mount returns to action on Sept. 21 at the Ohio Northern University Fall Invitational.
