
5/7/08 Mount players Katie Cammerer and Megan McCullough win All-HCAC awards
College of Mount St. Joseph softball players
Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) and
Megan McCullough (Middletown, OH/Middletown) have been selected as
All-Conference selections this season. The award is the first such conference honor for each. Cammerer is a senior first baseman while McCullough is a freshman second baseman.
McCullough led the Mount's position players with a .309 average this season, while Cammerer and McCullough were tied for second on the team in hits.
5/3/08 Lions season ends with an 11-5 setback to Defiance in the HCAC Tournament Championship game #1
Defiance College scored six runs in the 13th inning today to end the Mount's 2008 season with an 11-5 win over the Lions in the HCAC Tournament Championship game #1. The Mount finishes with a 17-23 record while Defiance moves on to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The Mount led the Yellow Jackets 3-2 heading into the seventh inning but Defiance pushed across a run to tie the game at 3-all. The two teams both added single runs in the 10th and 12th innings before the eventful 13th inning.
Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield) had three hits to lead the Mount, while three other players had two hits each.
Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) had a two-run home run in the game, her eighth of the season, setting a Mount single season record.
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) took the loss in relief, pitching nine innings. Cohill closed the season with a 6-5 mark.
5/3/08 Mount upends top seeded Rose-Hulman, 7-4 to advance to the HCAC Tournament Championship game #1
Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) blasted a three-run home run in the fourth inning today, her second straight day with a bases loaded clearing hit, as the Mount went on to a 7-4 win over Rose-Hulman in the HCAC Tournament. The Lions, 17-22, advance to the HCAC Tournament Championship game against Defiance College today. Should the Lions win, they will take on Defiance in a second championship game later today.
Stallkamp's home run put the Mount up 4-1 and they tacked on two runs in the sixth inning and one more run in the seventh to make a winner of
Katie Lawrence (Mt. Orab, OH/Western Brown). Lawrence started and pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs (two earned) for her second win of the season.
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) finished the game for the Lions.
Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield) led the offense with three hits while
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park).
5/2/08 Mount rebounds from first game HCAC Tournament loss to defeat Bluffton, 6-3; move on to Saturday, May 3 play
Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) ripped a bases loaded clearing first inning double for the Mount and the Lions went on to post a 6-3 win tonight over Bluffton in the HCAC Tournament. The Mount, 16-22 on the season, will take on the loser of tonight's Rose-Hulman/Defiance game, on May 3 at noon.
The Mount upped their lead to 4-0 in the second and led by a 4-2 score heading into the sixth inning against the Beavers. They then tacked on two more runs, thanks to a two-run single by
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park).
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) pitched a complete game, running her record to 6-4 on the season. She allowed six hits and five walks as the Beavers stranded seven runners on base. Cohill gave up all three runs, two of which that were earned, while posting one strikeout.
5/2/08 Lions lose opening game in the HCAC Tournament, 1-0 against host and top seed Rose-Hulman
Host and top seed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology pushed across the winning one with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning today as they upended the Mount, 1-0 in the first game of the HCAC Tournament. The Lions, now 15-22 on the season, are scheduled to play later today in the double-elimination tournament against Bluffton.
The Engineers won the game in extra innings after a leadoff double and sacrifice bunt put a runner on third base. Kristin Greer knocked in the winning run with a single to left field. Rose-Hulman will play later tonight against Defiance. The tournament resumes tomorrow.

The Lions were held to just four hits by Rose-Hulman, but stranded sven runners during the game, including four innings where they left the potential go ahead run on second base.

4/30/08 Lions split non-conference home doubleheader against Otterbein College on Senior Day

Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) were honored today between games on Senior Day as the Lions split a doubleheader against Otterbein College, winning 4-3 and losing 10-1. The Mount, 15-21 overall, will begin HCAC Tournament play as the number four seed taking on top seed and host Rose-Hulman on May 2. Defiance and Bluffton will hook up in the other first round game. The Lions won game against Otterbein thanks to a four-run third inning. Diersing tossed a complete game, upping her record to 2-3 on the season, as she held the Mount's opponent to five hits and one walk. Stallkamp ripped a two-run home run in the game while
Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian) had three hits. The Lions totaled 11 hits in the game.
Otterbein jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings in game two, en route to the win.
Abby LaRosa (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) had three hits in the game for the Mount, who committed nine errors.
4/29/08 Mount wins two at Hanover College; qualify to the HCAC Tournament
The College of Mount St. Joseph defeated Hanover College 9-0 and 3-2 today to finish with a 10-6 mark in the HCAC, which enabled them to qualify to the May 2-3 HCAC Tournament. Rose-Hulman, who will host the tournament, and Bluffton finished with identical 13-3 conference records while Defiance and the Mount were both 10-6. The Lions (14-20 overall) will be either the third or fourth seed and will begin HCAC Tournament play at either 10 a.m. or noon on May 2 against Rose-Hulman or Bluffton.

The Lions got two hits from five different batters today in game one as they run-ruled the Panthers.
Katie Cammerer (Cincinnnati, OH/Mercy) had a double and a home run and winning pitcher
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) clouted her first home run of the season helping the Mount to the win. Brookbank allowed only five hits and a walk, with two strikeouts, in the complete game win, her seventh of the season. The Panthers pushed the Mount to eight innings in game two, with the Lions scoring the go-ahead run in the final frame to hold on for the win.
Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield) had a single in the eighth to knock in the eventual winning run.
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) pitched 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for her fifth win of 2008. Dennett had two hits to lead the offense.
4/26/08 Lions split home doubleheader with Defiance College, holding onto a playoff spot for the HCAC Tournnament
The Lions and Defiance College hooked up today for an HCAC-doubleheader, with the host Mount taking the first game, 5-4; and the Yellow Jackets winning game two, 3-1. The Mount is now 12-20 overall, 8-6 in the HCAC, good for fourth place in the HCAC. The top four teams in the conference will advance to next weekend's HCAC Tournament. Rose-Hulman, Bluffton and Defiance are ahead of the Mount in the team standings. The Lions have one more conference doubleheader remaining, April 29 at home against Hanover (3-23, 0-10). They need to win at least one of the two games to sew up the fourth and final spot for the HCAC Tournament.

4/23/08 Lions suffer doubleheader loss at Rose-Hulman; drop to fifth place in the HCAC standings
The Mount's post-season chances were dealt a significant blow today when they dropped both games of a doubleheader at Rose-Hulman, 3-0 and 4-3. The Lions are now 11-19 overall, 7-5 in the HCAC, good for fifth place. The top four teams in the HCAC regular season advance to the May 2-3 HCAC Tournament. The Lions trail Rose-Hulman (11-3), Bluffton (9-3), Defiance (8-4) and Anderson (9-5) and have four regular season conference games remaining. They'll host Defiance on April 26 in doubleheader action beginning at 12 p.m. The Lions look to snap a four-game HCAC losing streak.
Game one saw the Lions blanked for the second straight game, as they were held to three hits, including two by
Casey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern).
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) pitched five innings, allowing only six hits and no walks, while striking out a batter, as she fell to 5-4 on the season.

4/21/08 Mount loses doubleheader at Capital University, 4-3 and 2-0
The Lions dropped two closely played games today at Capital University, falling by 4-3 and 2-0 scores. The Mount is now 11-17 overall and will play at HCAC-foe Rose-Hulman on April 23 in doubleheader action.
Game one today saw the Lions fall behind by a 4-0 score after two innings but fight back to make a game of it.
Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) got the Lions on the scoreboard in the fourth inning when she blasted a solo home run, her second of the season.
Randi Yaeger (Harrison, OH/Harrison) doubled in two runs in the sixth inning with two outs but was leff stranded at second base. The Mount was retired in order in the seventh inning.

4/19/08 Lions split doubleheader at Manchester College, remain one game back of HCAC leaders
The Mount dropped the opener of their doubleheader today at Manchester College, 4-3 in eight innings, but rebounded to take the nightcap, 4-1 as they pulled to within one game of HCAC leaders Rose-Hulman and Bluffton (both with 8-2 records). The Lions are now 11-15, 7-3 in the HCAC and will play at non-conference Capital University on April 21 in doubleheader action.
The Mount fought back from a 3-0 deficit in game one today against the Spartans, scoring three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game.
Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) had a two-out, two-run double in the inning to tie the game at 3-all. The Mount held Manchester scoreless in the bottom of the seventh, forcing extra innings but could not score the courtesy runner in their half of the eighth inning, moving the game to the bottom of the eighth inning. 4/17/08 Lions lose doubleheader at Ohio Wesleyan Univeristy, 4-0 and 6-1
The Mount's six-game winning streak came to an end today at Ohio Wesleyan University as the Lions lost by 4-0 and 6-1 scores. The Lions are now 10-14 overall and will play a conference doubleheader at Manchester College on April 19.
Sara Rutschilling (New Bremen, OH/New Bremen) had the Lions lone hit in the first game as the Mount suffered 13 strikeouts. The Mount scored a run in the first inning of game two, on an OWU error but were held scoreless the rest of the game.

Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville) added a double.

4/16/08 Mount runs winning streak to six with a doubleheader sweep over HCAC-foe Franklin College
The Lions pulled to within two games of reaching the .500 mark when they completed a sweep over Franklin College today, 9-8 and 12-3. The Mount is now 10-12 overall, 6-2 in the HCAC while Franklin College is 3-21, 1-7. The Lions are tied for second place in the conference with Rose-Hulman, both sporting 6-2 marks, and trail only Bluffton (8-2).

4/14/08 Lions record home doubleheader sweep against Wilmington College, winning 3-2 and 10-4
Megan McCullough (Middletown, OH/Middletown) blasted a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning in game one to give the Mount a 3-2 win and the Lions scored a season-high 10 runs on a season-high 14 hits in a 10-4 second game victory against Wilmington College to complete a sweep over the Quakers. The Mount, winners of four straight, are now 8-12 on the season and will play at HCAC-rival Franklin College in doubleheader action on April 16. Wilmington slips to 6-20 on the season.
Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield) had two hits in game one as Mount starter Tessa Diersing (Norwood, OH/Norwood) won her first game of the season, tossing a complete game. Katie Lawrence (Mt. Orab, OH/Western Brown) was the benificiary of the Lions' offensive explosion in game two, as she won her first collegiate game with a route-going performance. She had six strikeouts in the win. Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville) had four hits, including a home run, and three RBI in the nightcap while teammate Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) chipped in three hits. Lawrence added two hits.
4/13/08 Katie Cohill wins HCAC Pitcher of the Week award
The Mount’s Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills), who posted a 1-0 record and a save in three appearances last week, has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. The freshman pitcher pitched 11.1 innings, allowing eight hits, one earned run, and a 0.62 ERA. Cohill didn’t walk a single batter and tossed a complete game and had a save in a doubleheader sweep over Transylvania.
On the season, Cohill has a team-leading 1.84 ERA and a 2-2 record. The Mount (6-12, 4-2 HCAC) will face Franklin and Manchester in conference action this week.
4/8/08 Mount sweeps conference home doubleheader against Transylvania University
The Mount recorded back-to-back one-run wins today at home against Transylvania University, winning 9-8 and 3-2. The Lions, who moved into a tie for second place in the HCAC, are 6-12 overall, 4-2 in the conference. They will host Wilmington College on April 11.
Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) had two runs scored, two RBI and three hits in game one today. The Mount went ahead 9-8 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Cammerer plated Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paluding) who had singled. Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) picked up her fourth win of the season while Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) pitched the seventh inning and picked up her first save. Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian) and Stallkamp had two hits each while Casey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) had two RBI.

Sara Rutschilling (New Bremen, OH/New Bremen) had three of the Mount's eight hits in the game. Mienking singled in Rutschilling with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning for the winning run.
4/6/08 Mount falls twice in HCAC doubleheader action at home vs. Bluffton University
The Mount saw its 2008 HCAC season record evened at 2-2 with 4-2 and 9-1 losses at home to Bluffton University. The Lions (4-12, 2-2 HCAC) are back in action on April 8 when they host another HCAC doubleheader, taking on Transylvania University, at 4 p.m.
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) pitched well for the Lions in game one, pitching a complete game allowing eight hits and four runs (all earned). Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, Oh/Fairfield) had two hits while Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville) had an RBI triple.
Bluffton jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning, and had a 7-0 advantage after three innings, en route to a run-rule shortened game two. Downey had two of the Mount's four hits.
4/1/08 Lions outfielder Ashleigh Stallkamp wins HCAC Player of the Week award
College of Mount St. Joseph’s Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paudling) belted a walk-off game winning home run against Anderson last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week. The senior outfielder slugged two home runs and hit .316 for the Mount last week, including the walk-off blast in the Mount’s 8-7 win over the Ravens.
Stallkamp finished the week 6-for-19 with four runs scored, a double, two home runs, and five RBI as the Mount went 2-4 overall and 2-0 in conference action. The Lions (4-10, 2-0 HCAC) will play host to Bluffton Friday afternoon.
3/29/08 Lions record doubleheader home sweep over HCAC-foe Anderson University, 4-3 and 8-7
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) pitched and hit the Mount to a 4-3 game one win while teammate Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) blasted a one out, three-run game-winning walk off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning in game two as the Mount swept a doubleheader at home today over Anderson University, 4-3 and 8-7. The Lions are now 4-10 overall, ending a seven-game losing streak, and our 2-0 in HCAC play. Anderson goes to 7-13, 2-2.
The Mount is back in action on March 30 when they host a non-conference doubleheader against Hiram College, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Brookbank went the distance in game one, running her record to 3-1 on the season, as the Mount scored the go-ahead run in the fifth inning when Megan McCullough (Middletown, OH/Middletown) singled in Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville). Brookbank had two doubles and two RBI in the victory.
The Lions led the Ravens 4-2 heading into the sixth inning of game two, when Anderson took the lead 7-4. The final four Ravens' runs in the frame scored on a controversial third out call on a dropped third strike as all three runners and the batter scored on the play. In the bottom of the seventh, McCullough singled in pinch runner Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian) to cut the deficit to 7-5 setting the stage for Stallkamp's game-winner, her second home run of the season.

3/27/08 Mount loses twice at Centre College, 7-6 and 11-3
The Lions traveled to Danville, KY today for a doubleheader at Centre College, losing both games, 7-6 and 11-3. The Mount is now 2-10 overall and will open HCAC play on March 29 when they host Anderson University at home, beginning at 2 p.m.
In game one today, the Lions jumped out to a 2-1 lead and scored four runs in the sixth inning and clung to a 6-5 advantage before giving up two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield), Megan McCullough (Middletown, OH/Middletown) and Randi Yaeger (Harrison, OH/Harrison) each had two hits in the game, including doubles by Dennett and Yaeger. Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) pitched the entire game for the Mount.
The Mount was out-hit 12-7 in game two, with Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville) collecting two hits. Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding), Downey, Dennett and Yaeger each added doubles. Katie Lawrence (Mt. Orab, OH/Western Brown) was the starting pitcher for the Lions and suffered the loss.
3/25/08 Lions drop to 2-8 on the season with a doubleheader loss at Wittenberg University
The Mount's losing streak reached five games today when they fell twice at Wittenberg University, 6-3 and 7-2. The Lions are now 2-8 on the season while Wittenberg improves to 8-6. The Mount will be back in action on March 27 when they play a doubleheader at Centre College.
Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, OH/Paulding) had three of the Mount's eight hits in the first game. The Lions tied the game at 3-all in the fifth inning but Wittenberg jumped back ahead in the bottom of the fifth inning, 4-3 and scored two more times in the sixth inning. Tessa Diersing (Norwood, OH/Norwood) and Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) split the pitching duties for the Mount. Stallkamp blasted a home run in the fourth inning to get the scoring started for the Lions.
Both teams were able to only record four hits each in game two, but the Tigers used six walks to post the doubleheader sweep. Katie Lawrence (Mt. Orab, OH/Western Brown) had eight strikeouts in the game, as Wittenberg jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
3/21/08 Mount drops two games to close Rebel Games Spring Break action
The Lions ended their 2008 slate of Rebel Games action in Kissimmee, FL today with losses to Utica College and 10-5 to Spring Arbor College.
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) pitched the first game for the Lions while Katie Lawrence (Mt. Orab, OH/Western Brown), Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) and Tessa Diersing (Norwood, OH/Norwood) pitched in the second game. Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian) had three hits in game two.
The Mount returns to action on March 25 with a doubleheader at Wittenberg University.
3/19/08 Lions split two games today; winning 6-2 and losing 7-3
Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) went the distance in the first game, and had two key hits, today against William Paterson University as the Mount collected an 8-5 victory. The team fell, however, in the day's second game action, 7-3 to Bethany (VA) College. The Lions are now 2-4 on the season and will complete Florida Spring Break play on March 21 when they take on Utica College and Spring Arbor College.
Brookbank ran her record to 2-0 on the season in game one today as the Lions handed William Paterson University just its second loss in eight games this spring. Brookbank also added two hits and two RBI in the victory, while Rae Glassmeyer (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) chipped in two hits.
The Mount looked like it was in good shape in game two to sweep the day's match-ups, but allowed late runs to fall. The Lions led in the fifth inning 3-1 as all of Bethany College's runs in the game came with two outs. Casey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) had two hits while teammate Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfeld) chipped in three hits, including a double. Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian) added two hits in the game.
3/17/08 Mount falls twice in Florida Spring Break play today
The Lions were on the short end of two games today, losing 3-2 in eight innings to Millikin University and 5-0 to Loras College. The Mount, 1-3 on the season, is back in action on March 19 when they play William Paterson University and Bethany (WV) College.
Katie Lawrence pitched well in game one for the Mount today against Millikin, as she allowed only three hits, three runs (two earned), two walks and had four strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings in her collegiate debut. The Big Blue defeated the Mount in the bottom of the eight inning when they scored the game winner with two outs. Katie Cammerer (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) knocked in Randi Yaeger (Harrison, OH/Harrison) with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh to tie the game at one-all. Rae Glassmeyer (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) also had a double in the game as the Lions were held to three hits. Lawrence also added an RBI.
Katie Cohill (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) also pitched well in her first college game,, going into the sixth inning of the Lions' loss in game two. Casey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) had three hits while Yaeger added a double in the game.
3/16/08 Lions lose season opener but rebound to grab second game of the day in Florida
The Mount began season play today with two games in Kissimmee, FL, losing the first game to Endicott College 5-1 but winning the second game against the College of Staten Island, 4-3. The Lions resume action on March 17 with single games against Millikin University and Loras College.
The Lions were held to two hits in the first game, singles by Casey Downey (Greenville, OH/Greenville) and Jessica Meinking (Cincinnati, OH/Purcell Marian), as Downey plated teammate Casey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) in the third inning.
Kristina Dennett (Fairfield, OH/Fairfield), Ashleigh Stallkamp (Paulding, Oh/Paulding) and Downey each had two hits in the second game to make a winner of Casey Brookbank (Cincinnati, OH/Deer Park) in her college debut. Brookbank pitched a complete game, allowing five hits, three runs (one earned), three walks and eight strikeouts. Randi Yaeger (Harrison, OH/Harrison) had a double and two RBI for the Mount, as they scored the go-ahead runs in the fifth inning.
1/30/08 Mount picked for sixth in the HCAC Coaches Pre-season Poll
The College of Mount St. Joseph softball team has been chosen to come in sixth in the HCAC this season by the conference's coaches. Anderson was voted as the top team in the HCAC Coaches Pre-season Poll, followed by Defiance, Transylvania, Rose-Hulman and Bluffton. The Mount, Manchester, Franklin and Hanover round out the poll.
Anderson received seven first-place votes while Defiance and Rose-Hulman each picked up a first place vote. The Ravens narrowly edged Defiance for first place in the poll, 74-69.
1/13/08 Lions set to open the 2008 season
The College of Mount St. Joseph will begin the 2008 season on Mar. 16 against Endicott College in Kissimmee, FL. - one of eight scheduled games at the Rebel Games during Spring Break. The Lions first home games of the season are scheduled for Mar. 29 with an HCAC doubleheader against Anderson University.

Lions receive commitments from two of the top area pitchers
The College of Mount St. Joseph officially announces that two of the area’s top high school senior pitchers, Deer Park’s Casey Brookbank and Western Brown’s Katie Lawrence have committed to attend the Mount this fall and play softball in the spring of 2008 for the Lions.
Brookbank was named Division III Second team all-state this past season after compiling a 14-0 record, a 0.83 earned run average with 149 strikeouts. She also had a .467 batting average with five doubles and five triples. Casey was a first team all-city selection, first team all-Cincinnati Hills League selection, CHL Co-Player of the Year, team MVP and made the all-district team. She was also involved with the Parkers Variety Show, in the National Honor Society, in Communiserve, a CHL scholar athlete and in many other extra curricular activities and groups. In addition, she had a 3.5 of better GPA for three consecutive quarters. Her high school coach was Bill Newton.
Casey is the daughter of Tammy and Larry Brookbank. She is planning on majoring in Business at the Mount.
Lawrence was named SBC American Player of the Year after going 14-4 with a 1.18 earned run average and 243 strikeouts (in 142 innings). She also batted .326 on the year with 25 RBI. She had a personal-best game of 25 strikeouts against Clermont Northeastern High School this season. In addition, Lawrence was a first team all-city selection and first team all-SBC honoree (two straight seasons). She was a member of DECA while at Western Brown.
Katie is the daughter of Gina and Wayne Lawrence. She is planning on nursing at the Mount.
