5/6/08 Zane Trace High School senior Brayden Stocklin to attend the Mount and play golf this fall
The College of Mount St. Joseph (Cincinnati, OH) officially announces that Zane Trace High School (Chillicothe, OH) senior Brayden Stocklin has committed to attend the College of Mount St. Joseph and play golf.
Stocklin, who played the number one position on his high school team, and averaged 73 over 18 holes, was a team captain, made All-Conference, was a team MVP and was a Second Team All-District selection. Stocklin also recorded a school-best nine-hole total of 33 during his prep career. He has a 3.1 GPA and has achieved High Honors in high school.
Brayden, who played for Aron Lemaster, is the son of Lisa and Ed Stocklin.
5/4/08 Mount ends the season with an eighth place finish at the HCAC Tournament
Chris Lamb (Fairborn, OH/Fairbon) and Nick Barlow (Milford, OH/Milford) tied for 22nd place as the HCAC Tournament concluded play today with rounds three and four in Wabash, IN. The Lions came in eighth in the team standings, which was won by Transylvania University.
4/26/08 Lions in eighth place after the first two rounds of the HCAC Tournament
The Mount is in eighth place of the HCAC Tournament after the first two rounds of play this weekend. The Lions shot a two-round score of 680 and look to move up in the team standings when the final two rounds are played next weekend in Wabash, IN. The Mount, did however, improve its team score by 24 strokes over their first-day total.
Chris Lamb (Fairborn, OH/Fairborn) is off to the best start individually for the Lions, shooting a two-round score of 161, which placed him in a tie for 17th place.
