The tailgating parties will start early, as fans and friends socialize and roam the parking lot, enjoying an amazing variety of food, spirit and fun. Join us for Homecoming Weekend on October 24-25 as alums of all ages gather under the Alumni Tent to reminisce, join in the fun and grab a chance at door prizes. Test your culinary skills with the other chefs in the seventh annual Chili Cook-off.

This year the Mount Lions take on the Franklin Grizzlies in their quest for a fourth straight HCAC title. The Alumni Band will be celebrating their ten year anniversary and will perform alongside the Lions Roar Marching Band. According to Rick Elliot, the new band director, “we’ve had a good turnout and I encourage alumni of the band to join us in this anniversary year!”

We will have some special things planned for the classes of 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2003 as they get together and celebrate their 5, 10, 15 and 20 year reunions at Homecoming. The class of 1968 will also be having a reunion at Homecoming this year.

Homecoming is for alumni of every year, and a great opportunity to see the people who graduated before and after you did. So get your group together! Save October 25, 2008 for this year’s “Alumni Tailgate under the Tent”
