A Letter From President Aretz

Welcome U.S. Veterans,

As a veteran, I am happy to welcome you to the Mount. This is an excellent place for you to begin your college studies or finish your degree. You will find the Mount to be an institution of exceptional character and support as you pursue your studies.

I have the privilege of serving as the Mount’s president after 28 years of service in the US Air Force, mostly as a professor at the USAF Academy. The principles that I live by and that guide me in my role as a leader are based on the virtues of duty and honor that are so ingrained in us during our time in the military.

I believe that you will not only benefit from the experience of studying at the Mount, but that you will bring valuable leadership to the classroom and enrich the campus environment for all of us. As a veteran, you will bring experience, honor and integrity to your role as a Mount student. These are qualities that the Mount strives to instill in all its graduates.

Thank you for your service to our great nation. I invite you to explore the many opportunities available to help you achieve your academic goals at the College of Mount St. Joseph.

Tony Aretz
President
