Students applying for transfer to the College of Mount St. Joseph must follow the admission procedures. Official college transcripts from all schools attended must be sent directly from the previously attended college(s) to the College of Mount St. Joseph, Office of Admission, 5701 Delhi Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233

Once the admission department has recieved your transcript (s) as well as an application, an official transcript evaluation will be preformed.  In this evaluation we will match-up the coursework being transferred the Mount's curriculum.  For an in-depth explanation of a transcript evaluation, students should contact the program department to meet with an academic advisor.

Unofficial transcript evaluations are avaliable prior to acceptance as a Mount student.  Simply contact one of our transfer credit analysts and submit official or unofficial transcripts.  Our analysts will tentatively apply your credits to our curriculum giving you an unofficial evaluation.

Some key points to keep in mind while going through the transfer process...

  • All classes with a grade of "C" or better will transfer
  • AP and Post-Secondary credits will transfer
  • Developmental coursework will transfer
  • Quarter credits will transfer as 2/3  semester credit.  I.E. - for every 3 quarter hours transferred, students recieve 2 semester hours
  • There is no limit to the number of credits you can transfer
  • Bachelors degree students must complete at least 30 credits hours as a Mount student before a degree can be conferred (12 hours for an Associates degree student).

Please contact Craig Beesten (513-244-4312) or Nicki Veldhaus (513-244-4538) if you are interested in finding out how your credits will transfer to the Mount.
