St. Elizabeth Medical Center On-Site Program

The College of Mount St. Joseph and St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Northern Kentucky are collaborating to support additional nursing education for St. Elizabeth nurses. Under the new partnership, the Mount will provide the RN to BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree program to St. E’s nurses. The BSN course work will be taught by the College of Mount St. Joseph faculty on-site at St. Elizabeth in Northern Kentucky, providing a convenient way for nurses to attend class and earn a degree.
The Mount’s BSN completion program at St. Elizabeth will relate case studies, research projects, clinical applications, and leadership strategies to the hospital’s goals. Qualified hospital employees may also serve as adjunct instructors or guest lecturers.
The Mount’s BSN program will be available to eligible registered nurses from any of the St. Elizabeth sites. The BSN completion is a 30-month program with students progressing through the courses together (cohort model). Nurses who enroll sign an agreement to work at St. Elizabeth for three years upon completion of the program.
