The outstanding reputation of the Mount's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is built upon more than eight decades of experience in educating nurses who have become effective practitioners, administrators and educators in all areas of nursing and healthcare delivery in the United States and throughout world.
The program is committed to providing educational and experiential opportunities for nurses to meet new challenges in response to the health and nursing needs of people in whatever setting they may be found. It integrates the liberal arts and sciences using a value-centered approach with the knowledge and skills essential for patient centered nursing practice. The Nursing program is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The Application Process
Students beginning their careers in nursing should make an appointment with an advisor in the Division of Health Sciences to discuss admission to the Mount's Nursing program. Transfer students from other colleges or universities, and those who have earned a degree in another field, should forward official transcripts prior to the advising appointment for a discussion of transfer credit options.
Financial Assistance

Most of the military branches have designated ROTC scholarships especially for nursing students. In addition, many agencies/companies offer tuition remission for employees.
